A Dubsado Success story - how Dubsado will help your wedding stationery business

Meet Laura, the creative genius behind @lucca_studios! Laura owns a wedding stationery studio where she creates the most beautiful naturally elegant stationery and signage for her wedding couples.

Laura found herself swimming in client management struggles, buried under written to-do lists and never-ending manual tasks. Deadlines were slipping through the cracks, and overwhelm was creeping in. 

Let me take you through Laura’s journey from before Dubsado to after her setup was complete with me!

Can you describe your business life & processes before Dubsado?

I was doing everything manually, my process was mapped out pretty clearly, but it was a huge multi step operation and this wasn't getting any easier and the number of couples I was working with was quickly growing.

I also relied on writing everything out on to do lists and in my diary as well as using Trello to create boards and long term to do lists. I manually generated and calculated each an every invoice and quote using a combination of spreadsheets and Canva. Everything was overwhelming.

What made you consider Dubsado for your business?

I had too many clients and struggled to keep tabs on when I needed to email them and chase them. Although I clearly set out timelines for each client, deadlines were often missed and left me constantly feeling like I was catching up.

I found myself continually going back through email threads to find key pieces of information. I had too many balls in the air and knew eventually one would be dropped, so I thought it best to bring in Dubsado before this happened.

I wanted to streamline and create something automated without losing that personal touch.

What was it like working with HARRIET to build your Dubsado?

You were a dream- clear and concise. I really appreciated your guidance throughout the journey. Your response time was fab and everything was actioned. Although i still feel like i need to practise using Dubsado before fully integrating it I feel that I am well equipped going forward.

What difference has Dubsado made to your processes/admin work?

Dubsado will half my admin time - I like that I still have control of when things are getting sent out and I know it will take a bit of time for me to fully trust the automation side of the process, but so glad I will no longer have to regurgitate the same emails every day and cannot wait to spent more time creating and doing what I love. Also cannot wait to the couples to have their own portal with everything in one place - the dream!
